        i was in fla and was ammazed at the way they planted grass and installed sprinklers
        its true they do not prep the soil. because its not soil its sand. the sod has a thicker mat than we have here.
        they leval the ground with a bobcat and throw sod
        the sprinkler systems blew my mind. they lay it on the ground and cover it with the sod...here in ms you would have a busted pipe in dec. but there they dont worry about it

        my observations were in the mid fla area orlando,tittusville, coco beach i do not know about jacksonville or further north
