I am wanting to use the water runoff to fill a pond and maybe the extra from that cycle into a holding tank to water the garden area. I have a blank canvas so before I start I was hoping for some input. Thanks

remember, any pesticides, fertilizers, or weed killers that are applied to the yard will wind up in the pond and holding tank.So it might not be a good idea

look up trash cans in the home center. we've been using plastic trash cans for rain barrels... takes about 1/3 inch of rain to fill them. so they give it up and leak someplace in 3 years or so... trash cans are as low as $12 and rain barrels are $65 to $100 around our metro.

        that's a no-brainer for us.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
