I am getting ready to plant my vegetable garden here in Cedar City, Utah. I have a 10' x 12' plot of land that was used last year for a vegetable garden by the previous resident. It has a north/south exposure with a small (4') wooden fence on the west side. I have tentatively mapped out what I want to plant where...Any experienced gardeners out there care to take a look at my plans and give me your input? I would greatly appreciate it Smile

I'd be glad to. I diagram my garden annually as well. Just post your sketch/diagram/plans here or with a link.

Some issues to keep in mind:

How much gardening experience do you have? Do you engage in companion planting? Do you know what the previous gardener planted? Do you know the sun and shade patterns over the summer?
