        A 2"x3" sliver of cement broke off the base of my concrete birdbath. What's the best way to refasten this -- silicon, contact cement, bubble gum? Thanks for any good advice. Confused

        a good many years ago I broke a large piece of the bowl off. I figured I didn't have anything to lose , so I mixed up a batch of slow set epoxy and glued the pieces together. It's still holding water
