GoCardsConcrete countertops
I saw a commercial the other day from the host on I Hate My Kitchen and it was about concrete countertops that you could do on your own that put a foam center on the bottom and then poured concrete over top. I have been looking everywhere for this product cause it looked very cost affective and easy to due for the most part. If anyone could help me out and point me to the right direction I would really appreciate it.

swschradthe key is the yellow label on the bucket. this was a kit for a certain number of square inches, everything in the bucket for $60. somebody is probably making $30 pure profit on it, but why would you want to buy a 90 pound bag of portland cement, a bag or two of silica sand, and a quart or two of admixture for using a third of the material as the alternative?

henrylarry6Concrete counter-top seems very easy but I think it has very short life because of stains and water damages and it is very expensive as well.

CommonwealthSparkyConcrete tops seem to be all the rage on TV. But in real life not so. Just my opinion.
It looks like it is popular for those clueless twits of hosts to champion in order to fill those 22 minutes.

swschradfor what you're spending, why not use a nice quartz? I think in terms of spec-40 because I'm old and tired and cheap, and I don't plan on redoing everything in 5 or 10 year increments. concrete counters? let's say the jury has convicted; the same jury that threw the book at OSB as decorative flooring.
