granite counter install setback
I recently used a set of polishing pads on a seam on slightly used but still polished granite counters. I was hoping for the same result as I got on the rough cut of the backsplah. Not so much. Now I'm left with approximately 2 1/2 ' of dull and pitted counter. Should I not have used the pads? How do I fix the problem? I appreciate any feedback

assuming you are not going to call in a professional finisher, try polishing with a can of "fine" grade automotive rubbing compound. when rinsed, if it looks about right wet, re-seal the granite.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
