I need some help on buying a cooker hood. I've seen some I like on on this site (http://www.premierrange.co.uk/glass-cooker-hoods) but wanted to check these were ok, weren't too expensive compared to other places? If you can suggest other places to look that would be great.

There's not a whole lot of people on here from the UK so not so sure how it's going to work out for you here.
May want to check out DIYchat.com there's more people there from the UK for some reason.
Also try Googling "range hood UK".

I'm not familiar with that company, but you can click on the link to see hoods from a company that I have installed their product. Click here

        And they were not cheap.

Dawg, them "cooker hoods," man, they's BAD dudes. I don't do those neighborhoods, dig?

// seriously \\ that sort of fabricated stainless or glass exhaust hood is a designer item. there are as many variations as there are designers. if you have to check the budget, don't even think about 'em. I'd expect the most basic to run two grand, and five grand is not impossible to hit.

like the Linn LP12 turntable, they look like a hundred Euro and cost over five thousand Euro.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
