        They used small rectangular left over pieces of granite to make a wall that would look awesome under our range hood My question is how do you look and find left over pieces like that in your local area. they said it was leftover pieces they bought that were going to be thrown away. how do i find places that would have small pieces like that so that I can do under our range hood with it PLEASE HELP I am very new at all this and love doing these things but I need advice especially for this, i tried searching online and they have leftover granite but it slabs. thank you all for your help.

        Check with any countertop manufacturer or countertop installers. There are actually companies who remanufacture granite type countertops for the use you describe:
