My sweetheart loves her colonial style kitchen in maple, yellow and white. But the day I bought her a Keurig coffeemaker in black & stainless she frowned. Is there any way I can change the black plastic, which covers most of the machine, with a beige colored paint? Is such a paint product available? Hmmm.

paint? yeah, Krylon and RustOleum sprays will cover plastic. rough it up with 220 grit and clean it well first.

bigger issue is, where the plastic contacts hot parts, have you now added a fire hazard? there have been a screaming metric tubload of recalls for coffeepots that burst into fire even without putting paint near the works.

I wouldn't go near that task with a pocket full of big time lottery tickets

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
