We want to put a stacked stone veneer bback splash in kitchen, behind the cooktop. Is there a specific sealer for the stone to make it easy to clean?

Stove, steam, smoke, rough & textured surface.
Nope. Gonna be a bear to clean.

Agree with Jaybee. Unless you kitchen is just more for looks than actual cooking? You could put a frame of tempered glass and seal it up, so you could look at it, and just have to clean the glass? Just kidding of course.
So many other options in tile, with ceramic/porcelain, glass tile, metal tile, granite sheet, etc. Sure you can find something that will both be attractive to you and cleaning appropriate?

Glass tile will be best as it would be easy to clean. The best and most innovative idea would be to design outdoor kitchen as you can have fun while preparing food outside. Read this article for minute details. This message has been edited. Last edited by: elishakuhn,

They do make stone sealers of course, ck with the manufacturer to see what they recommend. But it will still be hard to clean, I was considering stone veneer also because I like the look, but easy to clean-no.
