I have roughly a 3/4" gap between the top of my cabinets and the soffit. I have 1 1/2" x 3x4" trim that is supposed to sit at the top of the cabs to conceal the gap but because the doors are full face frame, there isn't enough space between the soffit and the cabs. Should I just rip the trim?
