I have a 1994 Chevy Blazer. Recently it has been running rough. Two days ago, after it had been setting for a few hours, it refused to start. The battery is strong. The starter turns the engine. It seems to be getting gas. Is it possible that the catalytic converter is causing this problem? Any advice will be appreciated. Ron
Does it have the early Vortec 4.3?Do a fuel pressure check and fuel pumps can get weak not pumping very good pressure. It could be the fuel pump going bad.If a fuel pump, stay away from Airtex and Carter and they fail a lot.Delphi pumps are the best ones and hold up,from the dealer or your nearest Carquest parts store.

I found a simple way to solve my problem. I took the Blazer to a good mechanic. He tuned the vehicle. New distributer cap, new rotary, and new plugs. It starts and runs like brand new. Ron
