I have a power window, on the drivers side rear door, that won't go back up. It's a 2000 Chevy Cavalier and I have all the screws off of the panel. Is the next step simply prying off the panel from the main body of the door so I can manually push up the window?

one of two things... either the door slides up from L-shaped lockers in the panel, or the door pulls out with "plastic screw" fasteners pushed into holes in the door frame. the "plastic screw" jobs will be along the edges of the door sides and bottom, slide a dead credit card along inside the door and if you hit any, gently pry out. otherwise, gently lift up.

you will probably find that there are loose wire ropes into the window motor, and that usually means the assembly has failed and needs to be replaced. up/down is by reversing the battery polarity in the window switch. you could use a pair of test leads to the motor to flip the polarity and see if the window motor works, which would implicate the switch.
