I love to do 6 x 6 page kit swaps. You can put together a little album in no time for yourself or a gift. Or you can use them on 12 x 12 or other size layouts...very quick and handy to have around.
Hostess: Happyscrapper (Barb)
Due date: July 12, 2008
Back to you: ASAP
Mailing details:
1. Package each kit for each person in your group in it's own baggie. Then place all of the baggies for one group in a larger baggie. 2. Be sure to put your screen name and the goup you are in on each bag. You can add your real name and address to the outer baggie if you want. 3.You can use a swap card for yourself in each group so you do not have to mail the one for yourself to me. 4. Place your groups into a mailing envelope or bag and add the same amount of postage it costs you to mail it to me to the pkg contents, please add a couple first class stamps in case it costs more to mail back. Stamps are returned if not used. Also a sticky label with your return address 5. On the outside of your pkg in the return address area please put your screen name, real name, address and 6 x 6 Swap......this helps alot.
***You do not need to send a return mailer if yours can be reused, or if you use priority boxes as I have those****
~~~~If you have any questions I love to answer them~~~~~~~~~~
For each kit in your group you need:
2 6x6 pieces of quality cardstock
2 6x6 pieces of patterned paper to go with the theme of the group you are in
1 yard of ribbon
1 handmade element (journal box, file folder, tag or such embellished to fit the theme)
1 embellishment set (brads, eyelets, photo turns, buttons, etc......enough to complete the page.
A. Recipe pages:....you do not have to include recipes.
Glad to see you back hosting Barb! OOops! Guess if you add more groups--I'd like to join Gr.1 Baking Cookies, Gr.4 Holiday recipes, and Other Themes- Gr.5 Christmas. If you don't hear anything from me for a few days, it is because I'm having internet problems after my computer crashed. Thanks. Beth
Welcome Beth......will add you....hope your puter gets better....they are great when they work and or so agravating when they don't.....good to have you in the swap!
Good to see you hosting again! You know I love these...but...I promised myself I'd use up the ones I have first! I just haven't had time to get to them yet.
Anybody who is still considering--Barb is an awesome hostess, and these 6x6 kits are really fun. Make great gifts, and go together really quickly. You can also just use the papers and make 12x12 pages too, usually everyone sends plenty of things to embellish with.
My DD saved my harddrive, my old computer started working again, so she copied it and brought it home! Now my Dgs will get our old computer after Sara reformats it.
