I love these LO's. I think that your calming colors for the first one are great...classic and clean. You did a wonderful job!

Okay, finally got my 'example' LO done! I usually stay very true to sketches, but after staring at it for awhile and wondering what I was going to do with it...I decided to skew it a bit and use 3 2x4 photos instead of the 4x6. I put the small photo on some pop-dots. The green stripes are some old stuff I had that was adhesive backed, I crinkled it, inked it, and sanded it so it would match the background paper. Letters are stamped with some green paint. Used one of the $1 clear stamps to make the journal box.

TLF!

Jess

Here goes my layout. I chickened out with the white background. I chalked mine and i think it make it kind of neat. That's my grand kids in their little wading pool. It is too small for the oldest, but he was having fun anyway.

Looks great! The 'white space' doesn't literally have to be white space Wink I thin the chalk here works really good with the water theme, too. They look like they're having lots of fun!

Thanks for playing. Smile
