I love the brightness of your layout! Red is such a wonderful color - it goes with everything. And, your goats are really cute. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law used to have goats and it always disgusted me because they brought them into their house to milk them - yuk! But, yours are cute...tell me you don't take yours into the house!
Great job on your LO! Pam

Can't wait to try it. i love sketches. i have been scrapping for about 9 years and by this time my mind is kind of wore out as far as new layout ideas. i can really get a lot of good ones from different layouts.
Okay, well, I decided to work on the LO this afternoon since the misquitoes wanted me for dinner and I wasn't able to scrape the trim on the house. I did a LO and I didn't feel 100% in love with the results. So, I did another one and guess what, I'm not all that crazy about those results either. I'm going to post them both. Who knows, maybe tomorrow I will feel differently and be happy with them both.

you should not be too critical about these...they are both great. The pics and paper matches are wonderful. I especially like the hearts with paw prints in them. I kinda thought this one(sketch) was a little tough, but thats just me. At least I got something done.
Pam, I think they both turned out nice. Love the paw paper. The boys one seems like maybe some words, rubons, journaling, stamp, something would work good on those green strips on the left page. Don't know why, but it seems like it would work to me to add a tiny bit of omph. But cute how it is too!
And yah, figure it was kind of a simple LO, but kind of a challenging one--don't you all love how I gave it to you without doing it myself yet!
Thanks everyone for getting stuff posted!

Thanks for the kind words. Actually, today they look okay to me. I like some features of both. The paw paper was in a new dog section of our local scrap store - it's called Pets Glitter Hearts and Paws. The bone paper is also raised and glittery. They had about 8 new papers and all of them had some glitter and/or shine to them and, of course, I bought them all.
I picked the colors for the LO of my grandson, Jake, because in the pictures he looks quite calm and reflective. Normally, he is a very active boy and I use red, black or bright green for his pages. So, seeing him this way, I wanted to use papers that were calming. And, as I look at the LO today, I think I achieved that.
Thanks for the suggestions! Pam
