I hope someone else will take this over. if not, I'm sorry, but I am not gonna try to revitalize this board only to see my posts deleted. You can PM me or send me an email thru SAS. Janelle

wow, i wonder why that happened? I thought that the challenges were great and that there was a lot of traffic and participation! I like the simplicity of the board here over sas, and it seems like we have gotten stuff moving a bit more lately, but...
Anyway, don't go!!

I agree with you Jess - DIY is very simple to use. I love your sketch challenges and I have been enjoying Janelle's, as well. These challenges have revived some enthusiasm again. And, I agree with Jess in that we have gotten stuff moving again lately. I have been hosting swaps, as much as I can. I have tried to post a new swap shortly after I finish one up. We finished up a recipe swap not long ago (it was a fun and very successful swap) and I just started a round robin embellishment swap. I know that others will begin hosting swaps again in the fall. So, I think with the challenges and the swaps, things have been moving along.
We need Janelle here, she has so much to share with us - let's all contact DIY and ask them to bring back Janelle's bingo post.

I tried contacting them - don't know if I did it right or not. Guess I'll see if I get a resonse.
DIY is my favorite board and the only reason I don't do a lot of swaps is that I got into trouble signing up and not being able to follow through because of health problems, and I don't want to do that again to anyone.

Donna, I don't think any of us really know. DIY has a rule that if it is not about scrapbooking, it is not allowed, but since Bingo had been played on here before, don't know what the problem could have been. I have tried to contact them but have not heard anything.

Keep in mind that they have "robots" programmed to search for trigger words. I imagine those posts the Bots find might actually be brought to someone's attention, a human who performs the actual delete, but who can be sure? It looks to me that this board was made available with those who watch the DIY shows in mind, possibly only for asking questions regarding specific shows. This may be why there is no GALLERY for posting pictures. And it may be why so many posts are removed. But hey, it's their board and their rules ... and if we want to be here we must abide. What can I say ... Vianna
