I would suggest some kind of assembly line type of deal. If you want ideas--I'd go to 2 peas and do a gallery search for christmas cards. Or splitcoast stampers. I get lots of inspiration at those two sites b/c they have so many postings.
I don't know if you are wanting to make the card and everything...I buy the big card boxes from joanns/mikes (diecutswithaview). You get a variety of cards + envies. I usually wait til they are on clearance, but even if you just got them with a coupon, it's a decent deal. Guess it depends on how many you're wanting to make, and how much cutting/folding you want to do in addition to the card!
Otherwise, if you're feeling adventurous--I think some transparencies would make awesome christmas cards...

I'm making my own Christmas cards too this year. For me, each one, so far, has been different. But I don't have that many to send out. But if you are going to be sending alot, I agree with Jess, set up an assembly line. Good luck! Can't wait to see pix!!

Nope it's not too early to think about Christmas! My dd and I have this thing about Christmas ... we start watching movies and listening to christmas songs after July 1st!
Every one just shakes their head when she brings songs up on the computer and plays it out loud at work! lol
If your going to do it and not be pushed up you need to start now. I send out too many to make mine but I have made a few.
Maybe we should have a christmas in July (August) lol- challenge!

Oooh! Thought here...I saw some blank Christmas cards at WM this past year. Like the center on the front was blank, but it had a decorative edge of holly and berries. That would be a great base to start with. Then all you would have to do is decorate it up like you want with stamps, tags, stickers, whatever. Then stamp a sentimate on the inside and voila'! You are done. Just a thought.

Oh, I just heard about this thing called the print Gocco. It's from Japan and basically you can print, draw or copy any image, even pictures and turn them into a huge stamp. So you ink it up once and can make like 50-80 impressions! Perfect for Christmas cards. Anyways, it's very rare and mostly sold on ebay. I've been trying to find one to buy but, haven't had any luck.
