        Whitewashed brick too bright--HELP Sign In/Join

        Decided to whitewash our brick fireplace but used an ultra white--the first coat was, of course, not enough, but the second has now made it too bright white. Any ideas on how to tone it down a bit, or do I just need to paint it flat with a more muted white?
