My neighbor is getting ready for her daughters wedding.
She agreed to paint the living room with a more neuatral color but she wants to redo her floor in a hardwood or laminate Brazilian Cherry color but most of her furniture including kithen cabinets thru out the house is Oak. Any ideas for flooring with that would compliment the OAk?

You kno this may be too'late response,,,but DON"T go and do brzillian cherry hardwood; ALL Cherry DARKENS with age, ( even tho they finish it with UVA-UVB poly; MINE DARKENED too much...( Under my area carpet they're all lightish blonde still! try to do either granite/stone/ terrazzo big 12 x 12 inch tiles..to compliment the oak;; OR carpet is nice too! DON"T mix too many woods with your cab's.
