We replaced our front door, however I am unsure what color to go with. Our house has red brick with taupe/brown siding. All of the windows have prominent white trim. I was thinking about going with a red that compliments the brink color, however with so much white on the windows I feel like it might look a little out of place. So opinions, should we stick with white for the front door or go with a red. Attached is a picture. Thanks

The one picture shows it being in the shade. If it does get direct sun never paint it a dark color.
It may have even said so right on the sticker on the window.
It can get so hot it melts the seals in the door.
Look on some major paint companys web sites. Some have a place where you can down load a picture of your house and change the colors on you home computer.
That's the front door? Where's the side walk?

And here we have yet another self interested non native speaking spammer trying to generate business, apparently thnking he/she will trick someone into clicking on the link.

To the OP: you might try having someone hold fabric of different colors up against the window trim to see what looks good from a distance, which would probably be the appropriate consideration as it looks as though the house sits back far from the road.

Joe's points on the effect of sun are good; I wasn't aware of these issues.

If the windows and doors are in the shade, red would make them "pop" as the decorators say, but a chocolate brown might also work.

        Hi crberg,
If you want to make your front door POP! without the use of paint - which as others have pointed out, may fade or melt - I suggest that you look into Simply Said designs. They have some awesome welcomes that you can put on your front door to make it personalized and unique - it's a really easy awesome way to add character to your home and I guarantee that your guests will notice the beautiful design. The designs come in a variety of colors, so I'm sure that you can find one that will fit the style of your house. I would probably go with a burgundy one since that will compliment the brown siding, the red brick, and the white trim.

If you want to take a look at the designs available feel free to visit my website at www.mysimplysaiddesigns.com/kimmi or email me anytime at kimmisimplysaid@gmail.com

        Hi friend,
You may apply if you love the color turquoise and all its many tones and pretty shades. It seems beautiful and attractive.

        Hi friend,
I think you may go with brown color which is similar like wooden color with light or dark shade, it depends on your choice.
