I have seen glue on back splash used on several projects on TV but I can't find a place that actually seals it. Does anyone know where I might could find it?

There are several types of glue available but can I ask what material you're glueing? It will make a difference in a recommendation.

Look in the tile department of the big box stores, or check with a full service tile store. Look in the yellow pages for those under "tile". It's a common product.
