Hey all, I'm new here. I'm at work, and I've been trying to find ways to use up some of the extra pallets laying around. I've messed about with functional items like chairs and such, but now I'm trying to get a little artsy with it. We have this entryway at work that is rather bland. I happened to set a piece of pallet there and noticed it looked kind of nice there, but needs something. Paint? Transform it into something else? I don't know. I took some rather primitive photos with my phone to help illustrate it. To the left and right are double doors. The "hallway" is very small. Picture one Pic 2 Picture 3This message has been edited. What kind of a company do you work for, and what are its products? Do you have customers who come through the entrance into a lobby, or are your customers served by other means which don't require office visits? You could put your company's literature in the bins along with articles about your company, and perhaps some unbiased articles about the type of products your company provides (i.e., if your company has direct sales of building products, include articles on the various aspects of those products...articles which are educational to help the customers understand the products and their use). If the entranceway is only for employees who are primarily female, you could add some floral arrangements, including vining arrangements. Change them with the season. If employees are both male and female, and if the company provides employee bulletins or benefits updates, or information like that, they could be put in the bin. I think a lot depends on who the "audience" is and what would interest them, as well as how "artsy" you want the entranceway to be.This message has been edited. Last edited by: GardenSprite, | ||||
