I am going to be doing my youngest sons big boy bedroom this weekend and I can not for the life of me decide on what type of wood furniture I ought to buy. The room is all wood, and nice wood, also wood that I can not paint per the landlord, so I have to work around that. The furniture in there now is a honey colored wood, but it seems so stuffy with all of that wood everywhere, even more so with it being such different types. I am thinking maybe white or black or perhaps a blue? I also have yet to settle on a theme, I want something that will open the room a bit more and brighten up some of the dark wood in there. I also have a lot of areas that I will be doing fabric in and while I dont think I will use all themed fabric for every area I want to use coordinating colors. Any help would be great! PS the shelves in the picture will be getting coordinating colored storage I believe. The whole room is the lighter colored wood and then we have a full wall of the built in shelves in that dark wood.
Unless you have a ton of money do not over think or over spend on this one. Little boys grow up, there going to be spilling airplane glue, model paints, running there toy cars across it and scrathing it up. A soild wood piece will hold up better and could be refinsihed later on as his taste change.
How rude of me, welcome Micky our newest spammer. So nice of you to not take the time to read where it clearly states NO AD's. May your server crash and burn. This message has been edited. Last edited by: joecaption,

I need furniture that is strong enough to hold someone over 650lbs+ and about 7ft. tall. Getting a little tired of buying sofas, bed frames, ect. What would you recommenced? I tried to build a bed frame once but it didn't work. I should have been a carpenter...
OK that helps a lot ...lol Sorry but I hate to see a mattress on the floor and it would look great in the living room. Those metal chair help but even them break. We are hoping that his new medication will help with the weight.
Hi friend, Wood furniture is a best choice to look your room good and perfect. Wood furniture always designed and created with durability, exclusiveness and style very much in mind, so it will seems beautiful and you can also use some home appliances for your room to looks it better and best.
old-varnish pine T&G. closest matches would be maple or golden oak.
bring the picture of the room with you when looking for furniture, and pick something that you like against those colors. you can tie stuff together with art, rugs, etc. I can tell you what looks good to ME, but lots of people on the wider internet will upchuck on their keyboards. style and tastes differ.
although almost everybody hates a spammer. unless you serve them on whole-wheat crackers.
sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?

Choose furniture first and look for pieces that are light in color and have legs. Lighter colors occupy less visual weight and legs provide an unobstructed view of the floor, allowing the space to appear more open.
One of the best idea to make your furniture bold and attractive do paint with light purple or pink color on the wall and colors like gray, deep blues and lime green for wooden furniture will provide a awesome reflection in the room and looks beautiful.
The use of modern furniture for interior home decoration helps effectively use the space in the home. People can decorate indoors with good quality furniture that give a stylish look to the home.A variety of wooden furniture enables to maintain a proper style and attraction for the guests of the home.
You may use Modern bedroom furniture or your own unique like Modern Beds, Nightstands, Dressers, Comfortable Mattresses etc, because Bedroom is that place where you to get rested freely and you should be comfortable enough to see the best dreams.
Good one, Joe! Gave me something to really laugh about.
I especially like the idea of pink or purple with possibly blues or lime green for the furniture. The room would be colored like a giant Easter egg. But at least the youngster would be up early - who could rest with that psychedelic color combination?
There's another new spammer who's providing great information on windows (Topic: Improving the energy efficiency of your windows) - I'm sure we'll all be enlightened by that one's post. At least that one uses decent grammar.
I guess all of the experts here can look foward to being educated by the spammers, trolls and self-advertisers.This message has been edited. Last edited by: GardenSprite,
