        standard bathroom towel bar vs hooks

        I am doing cosmetic changes in my bathroom. I thought a towel rack with maybe 4 hooks or knobs would be different, look nice, instead of a standard towel bar? But wonder why all you routinely see are the towel bars.

        Any thoughts ideas on bathroom towel bar vs a rack with several hooks?

        Towel bars dry towels better as they are more spread out. So, if they work better and you have the room then bars get the nod over hooks.

        But it's your house. If the hooks work for you and give you the look you want then go for it.

        Just my opinion, but hooks look sloppy whereas towel bars, or even towel racks, look orderly.
