Hi I am new to this board and need some advice on the best interior design software. I want to try to see how different colors of paint and furniture placements will look in my rooms before I buy. I purchased one already, Better Homes and gardens Interior Designer and am disappointed. The colors are not true, especially the whites and off whites. Anything light shows up as a grayish color. It is also limited in choices. I have tried some of the free design tools at the paint websites like valspar, behr etc. They are also not true to color. Anyone have a software program they really like? Has anyone used Punch Interior Design software. They all sound great before you get them and I don't want to waste more money again. Thanks for any help!
I feel your pain. I bought the Punch Pro software and if I can ever figure out how to use it I might like it just fine! I can't get past wall construction...and I work in IT! In short, unless you're in the business, I wouldn't buy the pro version. It has a ton of features but the learning curve is high and the manual is VERY thick.
If anyone has better news I'd also like to hear it.

I purchased a Broderbund system and thought it was junk. I returned it to them, as per instructions, and never got my money back, or the system, and they dodged my phone calls.
