I need some help deciding how to decorate a rod iron railing we have in our home. We live in a split level home. When you enter our home, to the left is our living room where the railing is. My problem is my television sit right there (because there is no where else to put it). All of the electrical wires are right there from the t.v. and all the cable boxes, game systems, etc. I would please like to hear suggestion what to put up there so you don't see all of that! Right now i have fall garland and lights wrapped around the top of the railing. Thanks!!
Hi I think am familiar with the kind of house you own. When you walk up the stairs it is a large open space with no walls? I'm not sure if this would work but have you considered hanging the TV from the ceiling, perhaps at an angle? You could run the wires through the ceiling or through the small wall by the window. That way you will be able to keep that spacious open look.
You really just need a low piece of furniture that has a finished back. Put the TV on top and all components below. run cables inside the furniture piece.
