I am converting a horribly painted office and had planned on keeping the current carpet to save money but it will not work. It will be high traffic and people will more than likely have dirt on their shoes. The walls are an in between gray and the furniture is a classic cherry wood. Any suggestions are appreciated!! Thanks!
I would normally have suggested a light carpet to offset the somewhat dark cherry wood, but a light colored carpet would reflect all the dirt, unless you're going to lay down some of those thick plastic runners.
If you're going to replace the carpet, is there a possibility of putting tile or something that's easier to clean?
Dirt will get into the carpet so easily that this could be a real maintenance project.
No it will have to be carpet due to the building. Two walls are cinder block and two are dry wall. Its a very old athletic building and the tile wouldnt fit in with everything else. I wish it would because you are right, it would be a lot easier to clean...
