I have 2 daughters getting married this year and for 1 of them we have glass containers to hold a candle and want to put coffee beans around it. In checking the price of coffee beans it would be extremely expensive to get enough to put them in 21 glass containers to look nice. Does anyone have any ideas of something that would look very similar or is it possible to buy coffee beans that are old and not good for making coffee. I would appreciate any advice someone has. Thank You

What about regular dried beans? They come in colors and are about $1 per pound more or less?

What about pea gravel (sold at building supply stores) Sounds a bit primitive put it does look very nice in glass.

I was searching around for some more creative ways to use older coffee beans that we have roasted (we have a roastery in S. Alabama), and came upon this site. I use coffee beans often in my decorations, and would be happy to talk with you about providing some coffee beans for your daughter's wedding reception. 21 glasses to fill, what size? feel free to call 251.867.2417 www.wilkinsonsofnorwich.com and I'll get you some beans! Congrats to both your daughters!

What a good idea! Not sure what you are looking to spend, but Costco has some good quality coffee beans. I get a 3lb bag for about $10 and they have a larger one for a few dollars more.

For another look..maybe try candy like Jelly Bellys. They come in all colors. Good luck Smile
