Your just going to have to start making calls to find out what the prices are in your area. Make sure to have the plans in hand when someone comes to talk to you. Also have some real ideas on what it is your looking for. Time is money for any builder, and we just hate to show up and take time away from a job or off time and have someone just want to bounce some ideas off of us. Figure out exactly what it is you want built and have the plans in hand. Also have the land. Way to many times I've shown up and someone says there thinking of building, have no idea what they want built, do not even own a piece of property. There fist question is always "how much is it going to cost". Hard to say without more info.
