what is the name of this type of ceiling framing?
the outside wall is 8ft.the ceiling,extends up. at a 45 or less angle.for 5 ft.then flats out.at 10 ft.
continues to the opposite wall. the wall is 10ft
the other walls, are 10 ft.
a coffer is all 4 ends are on a angle.
this is just one.
does this have a name?

I could be mistaken, but I believe that you are refering to what is called a "tray ceiling".
