        Building home in texas.

I have been using 4x8 sheets of isocyanate foam for insulating the walls cut to fix between wall studs

.got a chance to buy some more foam panels cheap was going to use them in the attic screewing the straight to the roof joist in the attic to make conditioned attic .my question is these new 4x8 panels are not covered on either side like the first ones I used in the walls they had a fiberglass backing

Question is will there going be a sealing issue with the panels not being backed

there is going to be a fire issue and a code issue for sure. house is not saleable without fireblock on that foam. an inspector would whip out a red tag before taking a breath.

that unfaced stuff is foundation insulation.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
