Someday, I'll replace my kitchen countertops.
In the meantime, I'm considering painting them b/c the grout lines look sooo yucky bad. Over the years I've regrouted, resealed, dyed, scrubed.. if I ever tile again - I won't use 4x4 white w/thin white grout lines... it looked good for maybe 6mos...
Question: anyone ever painted over ceramic tile?

Ever consider if the paint could contaminate food? Scrubing the countertops might also be an issue. Even the best paint can only take so much scrubing. I wouldn't do it. You said you sealed them. Well that's about your best option. My opinion. CT counter tops do require you to keep them clean and sanitized. Sorry no better news.
