I have a bad tiling job by someone I hired. I will not call him back as he made a royal mess of things. How can you fix a bad grouting job?

easy way? get one of those multifunction tools with several grout removal blades, mount it pointing sideways to reduce hand fatigue, and gouge out the grout. don't go deeper, which is why I said mount the blade so it sticks out at a right angle... you hold the tool with a gloved hand so your hand dragging over the tile helps control depth.

hard way: two buck hand grout saw and three days of hard work.

        sweep and vacuum. regrout.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?

Are you talking about the grout lines.?
Or, the grout was not washed off properly and it's discolored the top of the tile.?
