I always buy Delta, because parts are replace free and fast when the rare breakage occurs. Your post is missing a word. What would you not buy?

Almost every major manufacture of faucets will send you the parts for free if you ask for them. A simple rule of thumb when looking at any faucet is never buy one for less then $110.00. Sound silly? It cost money to make a quality faucet. Brass cost more then plastic, one of those high tec. finishes that will not peel off or stain, cost more then some shiny coating over plastic. No one's going to "save" money going cheap on a faucet. You say your not a fan of Moen, any chance it's whats in your water that could be causing the problums? Some water is just more corrosive, old steel plumbing, no water filter, hard water, can all add up to premature failures. Never ever buy the "store" brand. This message has been edited. I have used Moen faucets for years and have been completely happy with their products. I have never had a problem with them. It is my preferred faucet to install. I live in an area where a lot of people have used Price Pfister faucets. And I have installed their faucets and had problems with even the brand new ones. Yes, PF sent new parts, but that is annoying to say the least. And I have been to numerous houses with PF faucets and they seem to be the king of failure.

Price Pfister is one brand I avoid like the pleage. Over priced, parts cost way more. Even installing them is a pain compaired to other brands.

Might want to check the flow and pressure from the shower faucet with the shower head removed.

Water quality has nothing to do pressure and flow. Some minerals in water however can shorten the life of the whole plumbing system.

have the well water tested by the extention service in your state, and they'll flag any problem areas that can be fixed between the tank and the faucets. "free water test" folks trying to sell you gizmos will not find corrosive ions and stuff.
sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
