The shower surround was installed wrong. The installer is insisting it is ok. There is a big gap on the far wall and the wall with the door.
What are your thoughts, don't know what to do..

You may need elaborate a little but if there are gaps that allow water to get through then that's definitely a problem. Many frameless shower doors are designed with a gap so that the door can operate without rubbing. In other places where the glass meets the tile, you may need to use a high-grade clear silicon caulk.
The bottom line is that if the shower surround or door is allowing water to get out, then it needs to be fixed. If there are gaps that are out of the range of spray or overspray, then not so much.
Sorry about your shower. We can't help with just the info you've provided. Please give as much info as possible including; the type of tiles, sizes, the method of installation, the names of the specific backer and adhesives used and anything else you know. Also post pics showing the problems.
