        I have installed a 32" Brushed Nickel Frameless shower door. The space where I am installing it has rounded corners and the door has squared edges. I got it as close as I could to the bottom, but now there is a 5/8" gap between the bottom of the door frame and the shower stall.

        What should I use to fill this void and sill look good? I was thinking of filling it with silicone and using something as a backer. Any suggestions?

        I see no way that much of a gap is not going to leak at some point.

        You're going to have to take some things apart. Take the two channels that are against the outside walls. Then remove the bottom track and round off the lower corners. You can use a file or belt sander to do this. Then reassemble everything.

        If you want to kick yourself while doing this go back and look at the instructions - should be about step #3 or so.

        I agree that is probably the best solution.

        The instructions said to use a "filler" but they did not specify what the filler was. It is a Kohler door.

        I have a rotary tool to file it down, so hopefully that will work well. I see a lot of sanding and checking for fit. I will try to make a template with cardboard or something.
