My master bathroom has carpet the first half covering sinks/vanity and his/her closets and ceramic tile in the half where tub, shower, and room w/toilet. I really want to take the carpet out and put something else in there. I know I can't match the tile and I don't want to re-tile the whole thing. Anyone got any ideas?
this is an excellent opportunity to chip out the old tile, put down in-floor heating, and retile. I'd take it.
sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
I agree with swschrad, sieze the opportunity. Heated floors are awesome! In our recent bath remodel, we removed the old tile and put in the heated floor and then new wood-look porcelain tile. Love it.
