joecaptionBest idea is to get rid of the window all together. It will be nothing but trouble from day one.

lynne_aI was wondering what you did with your problem. And did you get any other replys other than the one from Joe. Our window in the bathroom tub/shower has never caused a problem. When we demolished the bathroom, we did pay close attention to the window and fixed any small problems. We have lived here 10 years and the area under and around the window were in great shape. Now its putting things back together

that is giving us the questions of what to do first...frame the window and then tile, or tile first and then where is the cut off ? thanks

WaveI have to admit, a window in the shower wall, when there wasn't a window present already, is probably a bad idea. A window near the shower is a great idea, but not in the shower. I centered my shower between two windows, very good idea!

jershewe have a window in the middle of our shower. it is tiled the same as the shower. just make sure you put the curtain holders up first and then tile around them and the window.

joecaptionTile around the holders? Now there's a sure way to have water get to the wall.
