70's bathroom still has 6' vanity with cultured marble top in 70's colors. Has anyone successfully re-done a marble top? New top that size will cost hundreds if not $1000+ so would love to save it but refresh it!
Can you post a picture or describe the colors in more detail? I'm not sure what 70's colors are!
Best thing to do is look up in the yellow pages under bathroom remodels, or contractors, or countertops, and ask them about proper procedures and prices.
Honestly if it is that old, I sure would look to replace the top rather than attempt to paint it? We did a single centered integral sink on a 66 inch white on white swirl, faux onyx top (custom to existing base) and it cost just over 500 dollars a few years ago. Local diy plumbing/heating/electrical store did it for us.
Good chance to update the faucet too.
