        How to remove epoxy refinishing from shower tile

        I am just wondering if anyone out there has an idea for removing the epoxy spray that was used to refinish our shower enclosures without damaging the tile underneath. Thanks for any advice. We had a contractor get some company out to spray the epoxy, it looks bad and the contractor is long gone.

        I'm afraid that you'll have to remove and replace the tile to fix this. It will be difficult to remove all the epoxy from the tile and almost impossible to remove it from the grout.

        Totaly agree with Jaybee on this one. One of the many reasons when anyone ask about doing it on this and any other DIY site all the pros say No NO do not do it!

        It is just not worth trying at all. Replacing the tile is how you'd want to do it
