I'm about to add a shower to my master bathroom (only had tub before) and my closet is located IN the bathroom....just sliding mirror doors with closet behind them....not a large walk-in). Is this OK to do or will I need to worry about mold in my clothes? There is a window, HVAC vents and I will install an exhaust fan too.

With the window and everything, you'll probably be OK. Just make sure you don't have a stack of clothes that remain up against the wall, so that air circulates well. I have run into mold in closets in situations where the closet is in the bathroom. Its usually a small bathroom and a small closet with no circulation

I think an exhaust fan of adequate size is the most important part of the plan. And the use of it of course! A timer wired to the light over our shower works really well for us in the bathroom. One has to turn on the fan, in order to use the light...so it is a pretty good reminder.
