Does anybody have any experience with putting some of the green flooring options in a bathroom? I am particularly interested in the marmoleum and bamboo floor. Are these a good idea or a bad idea? I would appreciate any thoughts especially from those who have used these products. Thanks!
Dear cfd4, Consider DECOUPAGE FLOORS. I have been installing these for clients for 22 years, done tons of bathroom floors - no probs. Great coloring possibilities, not cold and hard like tile, no need to wax like stained cement, environmentally green, sophisticated look, plus paper creates a natural radiant barrier so it feels soft and warm on bare feet! Lots more reasons to consider decoupage floors. I sell a 'how to' video if you are interested. Google it or YouTube. It's a fabulous DIY process for any room in the house.
Decoupage sounds like an interesting idea. Can this be applied directly to a subfloor or do you have to install something else first. Currently the bathroom has carpeting.
Decorating is a way which can improve the productivity of a home. With the flooring, I think you should go through the tiles floor which is easy to clean. Though, the marmoleum flooring is also a good option. My brother has used this got the best result of it.
