TJH84bathroom everything redo
Hi, We are redoing a sm really old but not neat old bath. Demoloished Mon/Tue. Shored up the wood under the bath yesterday (Off the ground) Today install new tub/shower. There will be a new tile floor. 1. Do we tile entire floor then install the tube? 2. If no, do we raise the tube so that the tile meets the tube bottom or do not worry about this?

JaybeeNormally for tile bath floors, the tub (Note: T-U-B)

is installed directly on subfloor or backer board, then the tile is installed and trimmed up to the tub.

Re-mdlrAnd a good bead of caulk is used between the tile and the tub, do not use grout. It will crack and allow water to get under everything.
