I once saw a Bath Crashers show where Matt installed glass panels (not tile)to the wall around the shower. I believe he painted the back of it and then used an adhesive to secure it to the wall.
I would like to know more about the project; type of glass, paint, adhesive, installation tips and where to buy the glass.
Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you
You can get the glass at any glass shop, made up in exactly the size that you need. The process is fairly simple as long as the glass is perfectly clean before being painted on the back side and as long as whatever adhesive you use does not disturb the paint. It's really no different from installing a solid surface surround, only it's made of glass.
Because of the potential of slipping and falling against the glass and because the glass goes all the way down to the floor, it will have to be tempered glass - fairly pricey.
Thank you Jaybee for your input. Tempered glass it is.
