I'm demo my shower, walls r down, I'm going to order the Lustrolite shower panels as seem on several shows; my question can these panels be place on Schluter waterproof membrane? The installation on line says can be installed over old tile or hardie backer. Also it states to paint where the seams r going to b with the same color of panel, to help with expansion. Not sure if u can paint on membrane, & it's orange. So not sure if I should buy Schluter product.

Unless you post a web site of the panels your working on most of us will have no idea what your talking about.
People that work on the shows do not monitor these post.

I worked with Schluter on a similar product although the panels were of a different brand. The Schluter will work fine as a backer for the panels, the only thing is that to be safe you should use Schluter Kerdi-Fix adhesive as it will not damage the orange surface material. the painting is a simple thing, just a step so that any slight space between the panels will not show. A good quality spray paint in the joint area will work fine. don't paint everything, just where the joints are.
