I had a back-channel conversation with somebody who would be in a position to know, that renewal of his contract did not occur in time for a new season, so they recast the program. got it probably because I'm an old broadcast brat and could see production things and comment on 'em.

I like Matt's take on the show, too. the DIY aspect is a little increased with the challenge project, which costs the loser half an hour of contractor time.

the older Ahmed shows remain in rotation, sometimes out of prime time, so use your guide or preview button for more info.
