We purchase our house 2 years ago. It was so over grown with flowers everywhere. We have side yards n no backyard. Which means that we have no privacy. We can't seem to come up with any ideas on what to do. I am not in the greatest shape n have a very bad back. We tried to keep up with what We could. Do u have any ideas on how we could get some privacy in our yard? Thank u for any ideas.

        guard towers?

seriously, folks spend decades getting the gardens in and "right," so I'm with the flowers here. barring photos showing they are really weeds, that's a start.

next up would be to get the land surveyed and have privacy fences put in, typically they are installed 6-8 inches inside your property line to avoid future hassles.

in front, shrubs in front of bushy trees like spruce out to the city's boulevard line, or setback whichever is more restrictive, would shield the sides.

but if you have a rotten back, it's all hire-out. you aren't able to do the significant work yourself.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
