        I now use a walker and the gravel is hard to walk on. Frown

        You can rake in dry mortar mix and then lightly wet it. This will solidify the gravel and make it 'pack' better. It will not be as solid as a concrete walk so it's possible that the concentrated weight on a walker would still push in and not roll well.

        For more expense, the gravel will make a good starting base for a concrete walkway.

        A walker with larger rear wheels might give you more stability than one with small wheels, to help you get across the gravel.
