For those of you that don't have a jointer, see the attached link for plans for an inexpensive and easy to build jig that allows you to use your table saw as a jointer. I built one in about an hour yesterday and it works great. Here are a couple of tips: 1) if you have some scrap plywood available, a 48" fence is adequate. 2) if you don't have any laminate laying around, 1/8" plexiglass works fine. You can usually pick up a scrap piece at the local hardware store of lumberyard for a couple of bucks.

Have you found which blade works best with this?

CJT: I have only used the original blade that came with my Delta table saw and it works fine. My guess is that any sharp carbide blade will work well.
